Woven lies threaded by your skilled tongue wrap me tight in their web.
The urge to lose myself in your soul.
Believing the depth of your love had no measure.
Relinquishing self becoming one with a lie.
Standing before your image, nude, stripped of all.
Watching as you devour the last of my soul, drinking it down with my tears.
Intoxicated by your power over me, you laugh as I disappear as if I never existed.
As I read this, I thought of myself because that reminded me of an ex-boyfriend. Though your poetry is short, is has depth and carries a world of meaning.
I agree with Kyla on this. That is really deep.
